Dr. Jamie McManus has managed medical affairs and health education for two mega health-related companies—Herbalife International and Shaklee Corporation.

As resumes go, Dr. McManus tops the list in the health field. She completed her family medicine residency after graduating Cum laude from the University of California at Davis School of Medicine in 1979. She was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and did postgraduate studies in microbiology and nutrition at the University of California, San Francisco.
During her illustrious medical career, Dr. McManus was Assistant Clinical Professor, Department of Family Medicine, University of California, Davis, and had successful family medicine practices in northern California and Washington state for sixteen years.
In 1997, Dr. McManus accepted the position of Sr. Vice President, Medical Affairs and Education of Herbalife International of America, Inc., and member of their International Medical Advisory Board. After Shaklee was purchased by billionaire businessman Roger Barnett in 2004, Dr. McManus was recruited by the new owner to become Shaklee’s Chairman of Medical Affairs, Health Sciences and Education, a position she still holds today.
Dr. McManus is a noted author and is sought after worldwide as a health and wellness speaker and educator. While at Herbalife, she hosted live interactive television shows on health topics that were broadcast to five continents for over six years. She has spoken to live audiences in over 44 countries and appeared on countless radio and television broadcasts during her career.
